Weddings at the Coronado Cays Yacht Club
The Coronado Cays Yacht Club is a great waterfront wedding venue tucked away in the Coronado Cays, with boats, docks, and the marina surrounding you. It feels very different from the busier resort side of Coronado, and we really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere here.
We've performed at the yacht club for weddings and especially like the outdoor ceremony space right along the marina. You get the water and boats in the background without needing to put everyone directly on the beach, and there's a patio nearby that makes for an easy transition into cocktail hour afterward.
The clubhouse also gives you indoor space for the reception, so the entire wedding can stay in one location while still taking advantage of the waterfront setting.

Live Wedding Music at the Coronado Cays Yacht Club
For one of our recent weddings here, our couple combined traditions from different religions and backgrounds into a ceremony that was very much their own.
They also had a dog in a tuxedo. Naturally, he was one of the stars of the day.
We set up toward the back of the ceremony area where we could clearly see the wedding party approaching. That's an important detail for us because live ceremony music has to follow what's actually happening. We need to see when people begin walking, when they reach the front, and when it's time to make the musical transition for the next entrance.
Before the ceremony, we welcomed guests with a mix of jazz, Broadway, pop, classical music, and some of the couple's special requests. Then we moved into their ceremony selections for the wedding party and processional before sending everyone off with the recessional.
Afterward, we packed up and moved a short distance over to the patio for cocktail hour, where we switched to a more upbeat mix while everyone grabbed a drink, enjoyed the marina, and celebrated with the newlyweds. And yes, the dog made the rounds during cocktail hour too.

One of the things we like about Coronado Cays Yacht Club is that it gives you a very different kind of Coronado wedding.
Instead of a large beachfront resort or hotel ballroom, you're celebrating in a yacht club surrounded by the marina and a residential waterfront community. It's more tucked away, relaxed, and intimate, while still giving you that unmistakable Coronado-on-the-water setting.
We've had a great time performing here and would happily come back for another wedding.
...especially if there's another dog in formalwear.
