Weddings at the Mingei Museum
Smack dab in the middle of Balboa Park, you'll find the impressive and stylish Mingei Museum. This intimate space has many different exhibits constantly rotating through, and is a perfect spot to have weddings, events, and other celebrations. Their outdoor courtyard is secluded and unique (look above!), with a really great tapestry-like metal sculpture on the wall and views of the Balboa Park canopy and the Organ Pavilion in the background.
Inside the museum, you'll find other event spaces including their newly renovated La Atalaya theater with a large retractable door so the inside connects outside. There are so many unique photo opportunities both in and around the museum, and around Balboa Park as well.
