We've performed here a number of times over the years for weddings, holiday events, and other celebrations, and it's one of those properties that feels like you've left San Diego entirely once you arrive. The architecture, gardens, courtyards, winding pathways, and surrounding canyon all give the resort a very different atmosphere from the coastal and downtown venues we often perform at.

One of the things we love about performing weddings at the Fairmont is how many different settings there are throughout the property.
The Aria Lawn offers a beautiful outdoor ceremony setting surrounded by the resort's landscaping, golf course, and canyon views.
For couples looking for something indoors, Capella has an entirely different feel, with its high ceilings, dark wood, stone, stained glass, and almost chapel-like atmosphere.
There are also terraces, courtyards, lawns, and indoor spaces throughout the resort that can take a wedding from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception without everything feeling like it's happening in the same place.
For us as musicians, that variety is a lot of fun.

Our five-piece wind quintet includes flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon, which gives us a surprisingly huge range of music to choose from.
We can start your prelude with light classical music while guests arrive, move into something cinematic or romantic for the wedding party and processional, and then completely change gears for cocktail hour with jazz, Broadway, movie music, Beatles, Disney, pop arrangements, and plenty of other favorites.
That's one of our favorite things about playing a full wedding. The music doesn't have to stay in one style all afternoon.
For smaller celebrations, our wind trio is another great option and works especially well for intimate ceremonies and cocktail hours.

Guests can stay on property and make an entire weekend out of the celebration, while the resort offers everything from golf and spa time to restaurants, pools, and plenty of places to explore between wedding events.
And once the sun starts going down and the lights come on around the property, it becomes an especially beautiful place for an evening celebration.
