We love performing for weddings because they’re some of the most meaningful moments in a couple’s journey. These once-in-a-lifetime gatherings are where your story takes center stage, and that story deserves an absolutely awesome soundtrack. As musicians, as friends, and as people who genuinely love love, we’re here to bring music that elevates every part of your celebration. We’re not trying to ruin your makeup… but we do hope to spark a few happy tears when your favorite melody carries you down the aisle.

All five of us are proud residents of San Diego, we're your neighbors who understand the ins and outs of the city's venues and vendors. From collaborating with venue managers and planners to sharing joyous moments with officiants and photographers, we've built strong ties within the community. Whether your dream wedding unfolds at a picturesque winery, a sun-kissed beach, a chic downtown hotel, or a tranquil lakeside setting, we're well-versed in the area's charm, venues, and warm hospitality. LCQ is a seasoned performer and a trusted musical partner at numerous esteemed San Diego Wedding Venues, ranging from historic landmarks and luxurious hotels to scenic outdoor locales and intimate private residences.
Our pricing packages range between $1000-$3000, but on average our clients spend around $1500 for a two-hour booking which includes prelude/guest arrival, ceremony processional & recessional, and cocktail hour reception. Pricing can increase based on travel distance and special holiday dates, but we are very clear in communication about our what it costs to book professional and experienced musicians.

Left Coast Quintet is a San Diego-based wind quintet made up of flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon. Together, those five instruments create a sound that can be elegant and romantic, warm and intimate, cinematic and dramatic, or just plain fun.
And with hundreds of arrangements in our music library, your wedding soundtrack doesn't have to sound like anyone else's. It's your wedding. The music should feel like it.

There is something different about hearing live musicians begin the piece you've chosen for your processional.
Suddenly, everyone knows something is happening.
We provide live music for all of the major musical moments of your wedding day, including:
Prelude / Guest Arrival
We typically begin about 20–30 minutes before the ceremony, creating the atmosphere as your guests arrive and take their seats.
Wedding Party Processional
Choose one piece for everyone or give different members of your wedding party their own music. We'll coordinate the timing so the music follows what is actually happening rather than simply pressing play on a recording.
Your Processional
This is the big one. Choose something traditional, romantic, cinematic, meaningful, nerdy, unexpected, or completely personal to the two of you.
Ceremony Music
Planning a unity ceremony, cultural tradition, memorial, communion, or another moment that would benefit from music? We can help with that too.
Recessional
You're married. This is where we get to have some fun.
Cocktail Hour
After the ceremony, we can relocate and keep performing while you take photos and your guests grab a drink. Cocktail hour is one of our favorite opportunities to dig deeper into our library and play an eclectic mix of music.

Our packages typically range between $1000 and $3000, with our most popular two-hour full quintet package is $1,500, typically covering prelude, ceremony, and cocktail hour.
We also offer our three-piece wind trio, ceremony-only options when available, extended performances, and custom packages for weddings with different schedules or needs, as well as discounts for teachers, first responders, military, and nurses.
