Wedding Music at Galway Downs, Temecula
Galway Downs is one of those Temecula wedding venues where you really feel like you're getting away from the city.
We've had the opportunity to perform a beautiful wedding here, and the first thing that struck us was just how much there is to the property. Huge trees, streams and water features, little bridges and pathways, wide open lawns, and the equestrian character of Galway Downs all come together to create a setting that feels completely different from most Southern California wedding venues.
It's also a fantastic place for live music.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremonies at Galway Downs
Galway Downs has several ceremony and event spaces spread throughout the property, including The Oaks Falls, The Meadows, The Village Paddock, and The Carriage House.
For the wedding we performed here, we were set up beside the water, surrounded by trees, creeks, and greenery. Guests arrived while we performed about 30 minutes of prelude music, followed by music for the wedding party, processional, ceremony, and recessional.
And yes, this particular wedding had a "best dog," which automatically earns bonus points from us.
With so much natural scenery surrounding the ceremony sites, live acoustic instruments fit especially well here. Our wind quintet carries beautifully outdoors without taking away from the peaceful setting around you.

After the ceremony, we moved with the guests to the lawn near the reception area for cocktail hour.

While everyone grabbed a drink, played lawn games, caught up with friends, and waited for the wedding party to finish photos, we switched into a completely different mix of jazz, pop, movie music, and other recognizable favorites.
That's one of the advantages of having us perform for both parts of your wedding. Your ceremony can be elegant and romantic, and then cocktail hour can immediately become lighter and more upbeat.

For smaller weddings, our flute, clarinet, and bassoon trio is another option that works especially well for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours.
We can help you choose music for the entire afternoon, including guest arrival, wedding party, processional, special moments during the ceremony, recessional, and cocktail hour.

The property has more than 240 acres and has a long history as an equestrian facility, so there are open spaces, mature trees, meadows, water features, and plenty of room for a wedding to spread out.
It's rustic without feeling too rustic, elegant without feeling overly formal, and especially beautiful for couples who want much of their wedding day outdoors.
We'd love an excuse to come back.
