Wedding Music at Mille Fleurs Restaurant
Tucked into the heart of Rancho Santa Fe, Mille Fleurs is one of those places that feels completely removed from the rest of San Diego. The village has its own quiet, historic character, with winding streets, mature trees, Spanish and European-inspired architecture, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a beautiful setting for an intimate wedding or special event.
Mille Fleurs fits right into that setting. The restaurant has been a longtime Rancho Santa Fe destination, and its combination of elegant dining and inviting indoor and outdoor spaces makes it especially well suited for smaller celebrations where the food, atmosphere, and time spent with your guests are really the focus.

Live Wedding Music at Mille Fleurs
We've had the opportunity to perform at Mille Fleurs for a wedding cocktail hour, and it was a perfect setting for our wind trio.
The couple held their ceremony elsewhere in Rancho Santa Fe and then brought everyone to Mille Fleurs for the celebration. As guests arrived, we were already performing on the patio while cocktails and appetizers were served.
That's one of our favorite ways to use live music at a wedding. There isn't necessarily a big announcement or formal transition. Guests simply arrive and immediately hear live music, grab a drink, find friends and family, and settle into the evening.
For this kind of setting, we can keep the music elegant without making it overly formal. Classical favorites can mix with jazz, Broadway, movie music, and instrumental arrangements of contemporary songs. Depending on the couple, that could mean everything from Gershwin and Cole Porter to Taylor Swift, Adele, Coldplay, or music from favorite films and shows.
An Intimate Rancho Santa Fe Setting
The outdoor courtyard is probably what we remember most from our visit. Surrounded by the architecture and greenery of Rancho Santa Fe, with mature trees and lights overhead, it has a warm, intimate feeling that works beautifully for cocktail hour and smaller celebrations.
It's also a great environment for acoustic live music. Our instruments can fill the space without overwhelming conversation, so guests can enjoy the performance while still mingling, having a drink, and catching up with people they may not have seen in years.
And, importantly, the food was fantastic. We also had a great experience with the Mille Fleurs staff, who were welcoming and wonderful to work with.
