Weddings at the San Diego Natural History Museum

San Diego Natural History Museum Wedding Preferred Vendor
Get married in a museum! Seriously, you can do this! The San Diego Natural History Museum is perfect for weddings and events. They have a large indoor event space, ideal for setting up tables for dinner, a large dance floor, all surrounded by museum quality exhibits that your guests will enjoy. But the best part of the museum in our opinion is the rooftop terrace deck, overlooking Balboa Park and downtown San Diego.

The Left Coast Quintet has performed at this beautiful Balboa Park venue a number of times, and we know the ins & outs of the building and the spaces. The event staff at the museum are incredibly helpful and well educated on running large and small events. For the weddings where we were hired, the ceremony has typically been held on the rooftop terrace, where there a large number of guests can be seated. It is a secluded spot not accessible by the public, so you'll be able to enjoy and celebrate with those closest to you.

Receptions are held inside, where cocktail hour is on one of the main museum floors. Your guests can wander around looking at the exhibits while listening to our music, sipping drinks, eating hors devours, and chatting. The party and dinner takes place downstairs in the large atrium, where you can customize your table set up, enjoy toasts and speeches, and dance the night away.

If you'd like more details on how to make this space amazing, please feel free to reach out to us. Also, contact the Natural History Museum staff directly, their info is below.
