I had an opportunity to tour the site after their recent remodels, and it is such a cool space! Inside, the ballrooms are polished and contemporary, offering a clean, sophisticated backdrop you can really make your own. If you’d rather be outside (or connected to the outside), the patios surrounding the pool (call Tortuga) feel airy and inviting, with the city as your backdrop.
One of the biggest perks is the location. Sitting right in the Gaslamp, the Omni gives you and your guests endless options for food, drinks, and entertainment all weekend long. Plus, it’s directly connected to Petco Park, which adds a fun twist—perfect for out-of-town guests or anyone who wants to mix a little baseball into the celebration. The whole hotel has artwork, wall pieces, and lamps that connect the theme directly to baseball.
