Weddings at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park

With multiple ceremony and reception locations throughout the park, you’re surrounded by beautiful landscapes, incredible animals, and an atmosphere your guests will never forget.
One of the coolest parts about hosting your wedding here is that your guests get admission to the park before the ceremony, so they can spend the day exploring exhibits, riding the tram, and enjoying everything the Safari Park has to offer before arriving at your celebration already smiling and excited.

We’re especially passionate about performing here because the Left Coast Quintet is a preferred music partner with the Safari Park, and we’ve had the opportunity to perform at the venue many times over the years. We know the different event spaces well, understand the flow and logistics of the park, and have experience tailoring music to fit the atmosphere of each unique location. The event staff has always been fantastic to work with, and they truly make the planning process smooth and enjoyable.
Over the years, we have performed for wedding ceremonies at the Lagoon Overlook before moving to the Sambutan Longhouse near Tiger Trail for the reception. We primarily find ourselves providing musical ambiance for prelude, ceremony, and cocktail hour at the Kijamii Overlook overlooking the savanna, where giraffes, rhinos, water buffalo, and other animals wandered past throughout the celebration. It’s one of those venues that genuinely feels magical.

The newest venue at the zoo is at Elephant Odyssey, and it is epic! We got a sneak peak in early 2026 right before it opened, and we absolutely can't wait to return here often for celebrations and events! The venue has both indoor and outdoor space for dining, seating areas with firepits, a large lawn overlooking a stage, and much more. This is going to be such a great addition to the park, some pics below:!
