Live Music for Jewish Celebrations
Jewish weddings, parties, & life events are the absolute best - but maybe I'm a little bit biased being Jewish myself! I know the stress of trying to find vendors when planning your wedding or celebration, and understand that it can be even more difficult trying to find vendors who know Jewish customs and history, so let me tell you a bit about myself and what my groups can offer.
I'm a pretty typical rabbi's kid. My dad was an incredible inspiration in my Jewish upbringing, my mom continues to be very active in the Jewish community, and as a kid I was always up playing around on the Bima, running around Temple, and generally causing trouble (like I said, pretty typical rabbi's kid activities)!

Through my teens, I was part of NFTY-SW in El Paso, was a song leader at Camp Swig (now Newman), and became an AEPi brother in college at Cal Poly, and later an adviser for UCSD's chapter. I used to song lead on guitar for services at Hillel at UCSD when I moved down here, and met a ton of others in the Jewish community. I have been very active in the young adult Jewish community of San Diego where I started a Jewish Cooking Cluster, and was on the Board of Directors of NextGen, where I planned massive community parties like the yearly bonfire Havdallah, the Purim Party, and Place2Be. I really enjoyed leading Birthright trips and absolutely love Israel!
My groups offer classical Jewish melodies like Dodi Li, Erev Shel Shoshanim, and Yedid Nefesh, along with many others. We can play Klezmer and upbeat styles too! If there is a favorite traditional Jewish song you want to hear walking down the isle, we can find it and make it special. We will happily perform in synagogues, at hotels, or in the vineyards, there are so many gorgeous places to get married in San Diego!
Please reach out if you'd like to chat about how our groups can add to the ambiance of your ceremony - and if there is anything else you need don't hesitate to ask. We are all one community here, I'm always happy to help.
