Weddings at Stone Brewery, Liberty Station
The cool thing about getting married at a brewery? You expect us to name just one?
Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens in Liberty Station is one of our favorite unique wedding venues in San Diego. The huge gardens, mature trees, water features, historic Liberty Station buildings, great food, and, obviously, plenty of beer make it feel nothing like a traditional hotel wedding.
We might also be slightly biased.
Our bassoonist and artistic director, Dan, and his wife Michelle were married here, so we've experienced a Stone wedding from both sides. We've performed here as musicians, but we've also planned a wedding here, walked down the aisle here, celebrated with family and friends here, and probably sampled an appropriate amount of Stone beer along the way.

Getting Married in the Gardens
One of the best surprises about Stone is just how beautiful the property is.
If you've only stopped by for dinner or a beer, you might not realize how much is tucked into the gardens. There are trees, ponds, stone pathways, fire pits, patios, courtyards, and all sorts of little spaces hidden throughout the property.
It makes for a really fun outdoor wedding ceremony, especially beneath the huge trees that give the garden so much character.
Our wind quintet is a natural fit for the setting. Flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon give you a full acoustic sound for guests arriving and throughout the ceremony without making the day suddenly feel overly formal.

We can certainly play Bach, Mozart, Handel, and the classics. But we can just as easily work in Taylor Swift, Disney, video game themes, Broadway, jazz, pop and rock arrangements, or something completely unexpected.
That's especially fun at Stone. You can have beautiful classical music while guests arrive, something personal for the processional, a big celebratory recessional, and then switch into a completely different playlist for cocktail hour.
Our smaller flute, clarinet, and bassoon trio is also available for couples who want a more intimate ensemble.

Stone itself can accommodate everything from smaller gatherings to very large celebrations, with indoor banquet rooms, outdoor courtyards, and the landscaped gardens available for private events.
So yes, we have a soft spot for this one.
