Weddings at Tom Ham's Lighthouse
Perched at the end of Harbor Island is Tom Ham's Lighthouse, a gorgeous property overlooking San Diego bay, with views of Point Loma, Coronado, and Downtown San Diego. This place is perfect for a nautical themed event, or a waterfront wedding in San Diego.
LCQ has performed for weddings and events here many times with different ensembles, and are so happy to have an amazing working relationship with the staff and to be considered preferred vendors for live music! We absolutely love coming to Tom Ham's and really enjoy that relationship, and especially love their ceremony site with the unique metal sculptural arch that frames the downtown San Diego skyline. The venue has a lot to offer in terms of spaces that can accommodate different sizes of groups. The ceremony garden is enclosed and private, and chairs can be set up in any number of different configurations from intimate 20 person, to well over 200 guests. The patio is perfect for cocktail hour, and we've also seen guests utilize the patio space to set up buffet dinner service if they are needing to conserve indoor space for tables and dancing. There are two ballrooms on the first level, one that is smaller that seats comfortably around 50 people, and a larger one that can seat around 200.
Some of the best features of Tom Ham's Lighthouse, besides the amazing views and food, include a large parking lot on sight with easy ability to get guests parking and drop off family members as needed. There are multiple hotel properties within walking distance or a short car ride, so for those guests coming from out of town, they have a place to stay near the venue. The airport is also right on the other side of Harbor Island, making for a quick and easy transition.
