We had the opportunity to attend the fall open house at the Bali Hai restaurant on Shelter Island, and meet with clients and other wedding professionals who are regulars at ceremonies here. First off, the weather couldn't have been better - scattered clouds with clear skies, a fantastic view of downtown, and a magical sunset. Bali Hai really went all out, having vendors display the best of their work and serving great food and drinks throughout the event. We had the opportunity to meet florists, bakers, DJ's, photographers, really everyone who could help make your wedding day the best possible experience. These are all experienced professionals, and I enjoyed sharing stories with them If you're searching for a waterfront wedding ceremony site, I know Bali Hai is a place you should check out. We aren't professional photographers and just our cell phone pictures came out stunning. Imagine what your guests will experience here. It's an absolutely beautiful wedding site. There were incredible options for table displays, mostly centered around an island theme but with different types of flowers and centerpieces. VG Donuts brought out a spread of desserts that would impress Willy Wonka, and we really enjoyed as the sun went down hanging out around the fire pit while the downtown high rises lit up in the distance across the bay.
Overall, if you're still searching for an incredible wedding or event space in the central San Diego area, Bali Hai should be on your list to visit. We've played there before and would love to provide your ceremony and cocktail hour music, and we're happy to set you up with the other wedding professionals we met.
